Depending on the mobile device operating system, processor speed, and connectivity speed, a mobile device can view a live webcast. We recommend pre-event testing if there are specific mobile device configurations that you wish to utilize.

Q:

Can corporate firewalls block webcasts?

A:

Depending on your IT environment and governance, streaming video may be blocked. Our experience has been that with proper notification, testing and evaluation, most IT departments will monitor and allow content based on value offered to the organization. For all first time users, we highly recommend getting IT involved early in the process and get their support.

Q:

Can the webcast include a login for security purposes?

A:

As an option, a front end login can be utilized. Clients provide a list of approved email addresses. Together with a unique event password and dedicated web link, event content is protected and available to authorized viewers. As with all internet content, there is a possibility that content could be viewed despite appropriate protection. It is recommended that all content be considered public information when presented.
